Rocky Road Fudge Brownies

Friend Terri made these for Girl's Night Out and you've never seen such dessert hogging in your life. This is not a recipe for the light-hearted. Plan to buy a large size of pants. They are that good.

Rocky Road Fudge Brownies
(Terri DeJulis)

Base:

1/2 cup butter
1 oz. unsweetened cocoa
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup chopped nuts

In a pan over low heat, melt the butter, stirring constantly. Take off the stove and add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Spread in cake pan that has been pammed.

Filling:
6 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips

In a small bowl, mix all the incredients except nuts and chips. Beat 1 minute. Stir in nuts. Spread over base. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Bake 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Now sprinkle 2 cups of mini marshmallow over the filling. Cook in oven for 2 minutes, until the marshmallows melt. Frost immediately with:

Frosting:
Cook until melted.
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate

Stir in 2 oz. of softened cream cheese.

Add 3 cups of powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla

Terri says the frosting and marshmallows kind of swirl together. No worries. (Prepare to swoon!)
