Grape Salad

This is called a grape salad but truly it is pure dessert! I took it as dessert for my neighborhood meals with a sugar cookie. It is heaven in a dish and so simple.

Fresh Grape Salad

4 pounds seedless green grapes (about the Costco container grape size) (or mix green and red)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4-8 ounces chopped pecans
2 tablespoons-1/2 cup brown sugar

Wash and dry grapes. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Add grapes and mix until evenly incorporated.

Sprinkle with brown sugar (the lesser amount of) and pecans, mix again and refrigerate until serving. Or cover the top of salad with brown sugar and pecans like a frosting. Refrigerate.
