Glazed Cornbread


Glazed Cornbread

1 cup flour

1 cup yellow corn meal

2/3 cup sugar

2/3 cup brown sugar

1 tsp salt

3 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 egg

1 cup milk

1/3 cup oil



Mix all of the ingredients and pour into an 8x8 sprayed (Pam) pan.


Bake @ 400 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes (mine took 25 min.)
I then mix 1/4 cup brown sugar with about 3 T. of melted butter and brush this over the hot cornbread when it comes out of the oven. Delish!
