Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
These cookies are such comfort food but let me warn you....you have to chill the dough. Please, please, please, don't despair. If I can handle it, you can! They are so worth it!
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
2 cups supar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup cocoa
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
powdered sugar
In a large bowl, combine sugar and oil. Add cocoa; blend well. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to cocoa mix. Blend well. Cover; chill at least 6 hours. Heat oven to 350 degres. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Place 2-inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
Make sure you have a gallon of cold milk handy. Eat a little, drink a little. Ah, life is good....
