I don't usually post recipes I haven't tried before but I made an exception a few weeks ago when I posted the recipe for the brown bread at Outback Steakhouse. I decided I had better give it a try since I wanted to share it at Creative Cooking next week.
I don't think I'll be sharing....
The recipe calls for using food coloring ..red, blue with a titch of yellow to make the brown coloring. Well, even with my art training (ha!), my impatient ADD kicks in and I think I can just eyeball the color in the bowl.

I told David to quit making rude comments and just eat the bread and pretend it was spinach bread or something. He doesn't like spinach. And I do have to admit, the color got to me as well. There is something very non-appetizing about green bread. In fact, it spoiled the recipe for me. It tasted fine but.......
I don't think we're having Outback bread at Creative Cooking....
